You'll report directly to the Property Manager and be an essential part of a tight-knit team, collaborating to cater to the diverse needs of our college community. Key Responsibilities: Conducting daily inspections of school buildings, external areas, and grounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and order.Keeping school grounds and surroundings clean, tidy, and well-maintained.Performing general gardening and landscaping tasks to enhance the aesthetics of the campuses.Participating in event set-ups and pack-upsAssisting with traffic management on campus when required.Safeguarding the appearance and functionality of external areas, including paths and hard surfaces.Maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of school tools, maintenance equipment, and grounds machinery.Assisting in the movement of furniture and equipment as needed.Ensuring classrooms and furniture are organized and in good order.Conducting minor repairs to fixtures, fittings, doors, windows, and furniture.Removing graffiti to maintain the visual appeal of the campuses.Collaborating with the Property Manager, Business Manager and Principal team to address maintenance needs.Being available for duty during all school holiday periods and coordinating the upkeep tasks accordingly.A detailed list of the role and responsibilities can be found in the job description attached.Qualifications and Experience:Prior experience in general trades is highly desirable.Qualifications and certification in general trades are highly valued.Robust grasp of general trade principles and comprehensive maintenance procedures.
